If I could give this "daycare" 0 stars I would.
This place left such a bad experience for my family especially my kids. They will feed you all the right things "lies" on the tour and make you believe this place is educational but in reality it's just an oversized daycare. Janet the owner is Racist and constantly reminded us every time we spoke "that we need to hurry people keep calling to take your spot and we have so many tours lined up" even though we already paid the registration fee to secure our spot. HUGE RED FLAG I feel this place is money hungry and scamming parents for registration fees. They have absolutely no patience for kids whatsoever it was my 3 year old daughter and 17 month old sons 1st day there and they were only at this daycare for 4 hours before they called me to kick both of my kids out. No warnings just come and get them. Then proceeded to tell me that "no one will take my kids especially my daughter because they feel she has autism". They are not doctors to diagnose a child with autism. Extremely unprofessional the way they handled everything. They could have suggested we get our 3 year old daughter tested but no they went into deep depth insisting my 3 year old daughter had autism and that she is the "good autistic kind of kid because she's affectionate" and offering me numbers of autistic daycares when I specifically told them my daughter was never diagnosed with autism which felt very discriminating. They had my daughter in the infant room away from all the other kids like she was some kind of monster. This broke my heart seeing this when I picked them up!
Not to mention my 17 month old son was dropped off at 8:30am and the infant teacher was upset my son tried to climb out of the crib because he didn't want to nap at 9:30am. She had my almost 2 year old son in a crib for a nap from 9:30am -11:54am when he was just dropped off at 8:30am.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I PROMISE YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE IS RAN DOWN AND A SCAM. & JANET IS A MONEY HUNGRY RACIST.

Sweet and caring staff. My 2yr old daughter has a hard time being left anywhere and she has taken to staff well. They have texted me pictures with updates and have a fun learning calendar and tasty meals. They recently received a grant to help revamp the outdated space and I am all for it!

My daughter attended Sequoia Preschool Academy and we loved it. She started when she turned 3 and she didn't speak English at all. But thanks for teachers patience and dedicated work after 3 months she understands everything and she's able to express herself. She had a lot of fun there but also preschool's curriculum program is strong. All teachers are great, I connected the most with Cathrina and Mary. The communication was always clear and they address my "first time mom of preschooler" concerns very professionally. Jannet the owner is wonderful person and I saw how kids loved her. We had to leave Sequoia Preschool Academy due to relocation but I definitely recomend it!

Sequoia Preschool has been a blessing to my kids and I'm glad to have signed up as soon as I did. They have been attending here for over a year now and the results have been overwhelmingly positive. My mother commended my child's improved verbal & social skills since attending Sequoia Preschool. I admire the teachers' patience and time especially that of teacher Samantha with teacher Tammy's help, on working with my child and helping him get prepped for kindergarten.

The parent - teacher conference is a very important aspect that should be taken seriously. The teachers don't "sugarcoat" anything and will inform you of what's going on with your child. If ever in doubt just ask the teachers.

The Infant teacher is very caring, nurturing, and was like my child's 2nd mommy before moving on to the Toddler class; the Pre -K teachers rock as they make learning fun, understanding, and prepare my child for "the real school world" and I need to get the "secret" from the Toddler teachers on how "they do it"... with transforming the "terrible twos" and "No No" clicks into fine young polite children.

I am grateful to Director Janet and all her staff for keeping up this environment of learning, character/stamina building, and diversity as they cater to my children's needs accordingly and my family feels very safe and we have no worries with them attending this school.

Their location and hours of operation, are a PLUS and fits perfectly with my office hours.

Had my kid there for almost a year, everyone was very professional and had their best interest in the kids that attend. Any incident even small ones is brought to parent's attention with genuine transparency and aptitude to help. Plus my son was always looked forward to going.

The worst ever. Teachers do not pay attention to kids. Kids biting and hitting with no incident reports. My grandson had more injuries in that school in few month than he had in 3 years of his life. Everything is being covered up by the owner. They have more violations than any school around. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CHILDREN.

I love this school and so do my two children that have attend Sequoia. The staff is wonderful I highly recommend Sequoia if you're looking for a fun and educational school to prepare your child for kindergarten!
