Dr.Larson takes the time to hear about your concerns. He does a thorough evaluation to determine what is the best care plan for you. Whether it be placing you on a medication regimen or non pharmaceutical treatment, he determines what is the best course for your diagnosis. Serenity is amazing. The same day I called them I had an evaluation with the provider. That same day my script was sent to the pharmacy. Depending on what type of medication you are on and what insurance you have it could take 2-3 days to get your medication ; however serenity was able to help me speed up the process due to my specific circumstances. I appreciate the work they do and I would highly recommend them to my peers.

Dr. Larson and his team are amazing people. I truly felt understood and cared for during my visit. I really found a great place for help. I am glad to see someone else's recent review about Dr. Larson. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I completed the intake call with my family member, which took one entire hour, which consisted of mostly an attempt to upsell services. My family member was recently diagnosed after a psychotic break and Baker Act and Dr. Larson stopped all meds with no replacement or further treatment, and my family member has been home, jobless, unable to interact with others ever since. I will always regret switching from our previous provider, and looking at the last one-star review here (as we are also people of color), my suspicions are further raised that Dr. Larson may be racist. I am still pondering speaking with a lawyer. Please research and compare before utilizing this practice. Mental wellness is an issue of life or death.

This being my first experience with mental health professionals, I truly feel I hit the jackpot. They show consistent empathy and I felt safe the second I called for an appointment. They take their time with you and EVERY SINGLE person, no matter their role, goes out of their way to make sure you feel safe. Dr Tim Larson- fantastic. He addressed each and every one of my needs, truly listened to me, and by doing so, was able to address the root cause of my issues after the first appointment. I felt validated and cared for, from beginning to end. (Plus he’s a pretty funny dr). They provide many options to help you get your life back in addition to medication. It took me years to take the leap and get help, and I’m so happy that I did AND that I did it here.
If you're on the fence and hesitant like I was, trust me you're in good hands here.

I’m a new patient at Serenity in Lake Mary. I’m very impressed by the professionalism and care and concern I’ve experienced so far. Dr Larson took time to really listen to me and explain my diagnosis and the treatment he thought will work best for me. He is kind and patient and I never felt rushed. It’s difficult to change your psychiatrist but I felt at ease through the whole process of being a new patient from making the appointment to meeting Dr Larson. Everyone has been great!

I can’t believe how much better I feel since starting treatment at Serenity. The psychiatrist really gets me and my depression is finally manageable. The staff is super friendly too!
