We started our journey with Shadi Academy when our daughter was 16 months old. Now, she is ready to step into kindergarten at age 5. It's hard to say goodbye to Shadi for so many reasons. We feel fortunate that we were able to find a place at Shadi for Athena.

Crossing so many growing up milestones was easier for Athena as Shadi was always beside us and gave all the support we needed to make those milestones a success story. Shadi has been truly an academy that sincerely cared, nurtured, and loved as Athena grew-up. It's hard to list all the great things that Shad did for the kids - good habits of healthy foods and fruits, exercise, learning, celebrating special days like St. Patrick day, Thanksgiving, Nowruz, Diwali etc. Kids learnt as they had fun too. Shadi even arranged the giving day to teach kids sharing with kids in need.

Dropping her at the center was always easy for us as we knew she was in good hands. Shadi did strictly maintain the Academy's rules. When we deeply think we understand this was for the safety of the kids. We sometimes felt our daughter was safer there instead of at our own house. This confidence over Shadi grew over time.

The way Shadi handled COVID was a great example. When you opened after the first 3 months of lockdown in 2020, we were cautious and had concerns on how COVID restrictions could be applied to such small kids. But you did it all well and made the journey with COVID simpler, trained the kids to use masks and to stay 6ft away and many more things. As parents, we often used Shadi's guidance on what to get for our little one and used Shadi's safety instructions.

This is a very emotional moment for us to say goodbye to Shadi Academy. Simple thank you will not express the gratitude we have for all of you. - Mrs. Fereshteh, Mr. Khoshrow and Ms. Lili.

Thank you so much for everything you've done until Athena became ready to go to kindergarten. Shadi will be always in our heart as Athena's childhood 2nd home.

"Teachers plant the seed that grow forever"

Everyday as we drop our daughter off at Shadi and sign in, we read the above note and appreciate how Shadi Academy lives up to it every single day. At Shadi, teaching and care comes from the heart with utmost sincerity and lots of love!

Today is her last day at Shadi. Over the last four years, she has made wonderful friends (for life), has become socially and emotionally very well equipped, and has learnt *quite a lot*. She often gives us lessons on constellations, stars and blackholes, Slavery, Martin Luther King, how to fold the blanket, about bugs and bugspray, exercise, how to care for young ones, table manners, team work, polite words and what not - we just listen in awe at the *variety* of things Shadi Academy has taught her. Even when presented with a wide variety of food to choose from, her first choice is SALAD!! - can you believe that (in Shadi's style 🙂 ).

As she steps on to the next phase as a well-rounded, creative and confident child (all thanks to Shadi), she shall always cherish the priceless, happy-happy memories along with the solid educational foundation that Shadi has created for her.

I still remember the time when our son was in a different childcare place. Every morning, he would cry when dropped off. Many days, he was hungry when he was picked up since no one had checked to see if he had eaten. We were at our wit's end when our neighbor told us about Shadi Academy. When I visited Shadi Academy for the first time, I was completely blown away - by the cleanliness, the happy smiles on the kids' faces and of course, by how much they genuinely cared for the children.

Our kids went to Shadi Academy willingly and happily every single day. They were well fed during the day. They showed more independence in every aspect - for example, eating and dressing in the morning. Their development was apparent in every sphere - learning letters and numbers, history, geography and general life skills among others. Most of all, they became very happy,well behaved and social kids.

We were so fortunate to find this day care/preschool for our son and daughter. We could concentrate on our work during the day knowing that our kids were with Fereshteh, Khosrow, and their helper, Carolyn who loved our kids as if they were their own.

Extreme professionalism! This academy is as well run as I have ever seen. They take their job very seriously. They have a high degree of structure while promoting high levels of engagement throughout their daily routine. Embedded into their activities are all the things you to which you want your child exposed (writing, drawing, language fine/gross motor, language, play, art, science, and friends). I give them my highest recommendation.
