My son went here for about 2 years and absolutely loved it. He started at about 15 months, not having gone anywhere else due to COVID, but he acclimated well and really developed his social and language skills. It's an incredibly warm & nurturing environment that supported him as he went through potty training. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Nice small daycare, I would say family-style. my 2.5 years old have been going there for 4 months and that was his first daycare. Thank you Irma and Alla for making the adaptation process smooth. Food is great, home-cooked and organic, he slept well there, learned few songs. Baking, painting activities- love them! There is a renovated backyard where kids have some fun. The only wish might be more photos and videos-as a mother who spends the day away from the child - would love to receive them daily )). But I understand there is no photographer on duty, Irma and Alla are busy taking care of the kids, which they do great. Overall want to thank this lovely Home for taking a good care of my son, forever grateful!

Sherman Oaks Child Care has been a wonderful place for my 2 kids. I trust Irma and Alla, and know that my boys are safe and genuinely cared for when they are there. It is small enough where you know the kids are properly supervised, plus they are having fun and learning! Both kids have learned to count, say the ABC’s, share (!!!) and play well with others. Not to mention the organic, home cooked meals they enjoy while they are there. They probably eat better at school then at home!

My 18 month old daughter has been with Irma and Alla for 6 months now, her first day care experience has been super! She is always happy to go to school. Sometimes in the morning she is at door ready to leave and when I ask if she wants to go school her answers is always yes I’ll go now. My son has been at Irma's daycare since September of this year, when he was 7 months old. It is a small in-home daycare, and we just love it. I had him at another daycare before this, and needed to move him quickly. I was referred to Irma by a daycare facility that is highly recommended in SF Valley mommy groups. When I first came to Irma's home, I was immediately impressed with how clean and organized it is. It was clear that she takes her business and licensing requirements seriously - which was just what I was looking for, given our previous experience. My son immediately liked her, and that sealed the deal for me. Irma is a loving and patient caregiver. She really knows my son, and he is happy to see her every day; which is a huge relief to me, as a first-time mother working full-time. Irma sends pictures and videos of his activities almost daily, which is so awesome. I highly recommend her.

Our son has been with Irma for about a year now. He was in a larger Montessori in Santa Clarita, which we had to leave due to our move to Sherman Oaks. Irma's day care was recommended by a colleague and she was able to accommodate us on short notice due to our sudden move. He was getting sick very often when he was at the previous day care/preschool but has hardly been sick while being at Irma's during all this time. She has always been very accommodating when we had to change our days on short notices. Ms. Alla has been very nurturing as well. We look forward to our second child going there when she is ready for day care in couple more years!

Ms. Irma is wonderful! There are so many great things to say about Irma and her team. She is truly passionate about caring for children, making sure they feel loved, are nourished with healthy meals, and engage in developmentally appropriate tasks and play.

We have two daughters who are being cared for by Ms. Irma. They adjusted well, within only one week. My older daughter can talk now and is always excited to tell me what she did or learned during the day. Ms. Irma has a nice backyard for the kids to play, and playing outdoors is one of the funnest things for the kids to do. My girls are always well cared for by Ms. Irma, and it makes me feel reassured that they are eating healthy, home-cooked meals during the day. Ms. Irma also teaches the kids how to behave well and use manners. My daughter routinely says please and thank-you, and she knows her alphabet already. Those are just a few things to say about Ms. Irma.

Also, the environment at Ms. Irma's house is clean, comfortable and cozy for the kids, making them feel safe and secure while away from their parent(s). The kids do circle time, play time, and even learn to do independent play which helps them learn how to stay focused on a specific task.

I have so much more to say about Ms. Irma, and I am happy to highly recommend her to anyone seeking excellent child care for their little ones!

This really is the best place for your child! We are so lucky to have found this child care. My 2-year daughter absolutely LOVES coming here. She even asks to come on the weekends. Ms. Irma and her dedicated and loving staff are so wonderful, I cannot thank them enough. When I was looking at daycares for my daughter, I carefully researched every one in my neighborhood. Now, I drive 20-25 minutes every day from Studio City to Sherman Oaks just so my daughter can attend Ms. Irma's child care. Ms. Irma's approach, love and dedication towards her students is unparalleled. She treats them like her own children. This is not just a daycare. This is a place that fosters physical, mental, and emotional development and growth. We love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a child care!
