Everyone on staff is warm, inviting, and they truly care. Scheduling is always easy, I never wait for my appt when I get there, and they utilize my hour to the fullest. I’ve been through two separate injuries here and have had excellent results. Highly recommend Sierra Injury and Sports Rehab!

I recently completed 12 1-hour sessions of physical therapy at Sierra Rehab. There was a slight improvement in my condition, so I agreed to let them apply for another 12 sessions from my insurance. They notified me by 2 texts as soon as it was approved, as if there was some kind of rush. At the time, Grass Valley was getting horrendous smoke from a nearby fire, so I called the scheduler, Kathy, to tell her I was going to put off scheduling treatment for a few days to see what happened with the smoke. She immediately flared up with anger, and snapped at me in a rude and angry voice, and I told her I would call her in a few days. When I called back a few days later, and we agreed on the days and times I would come in the following week, she had a flip tone that suggested that she wasn't actually going to schedule it. Sure enough, when I called the day of the first appointment to confirm it, Kathy told me in a self-satisfied voice "I didn't schedule your hours this week. I got busy and forgot." In other words, she intentionally didn't schedule it in order to "punish" me for delaying treatment. At that point, I knew I wouldn't be going back to Sierra Rehab. It's the first time I've turned down treatment that's been approved by my insurance. Physical therapy is like any other business--if you abuse your customers, they don't go back.

Compassionate. Dedicated. Knowledgeable. Professional. Respectful.

These attributes make up the wonderful PT care team at Sierra Physical Therapy & Rehab. The practice is well run with the team working together to provide the best care with results for each patient. Friendly reminder texts are sent for upcoming appointments which greatly assist with communication. PT sessions begin and end on time providing prompt and reliable service. The practice offers extended hours, 8am-6pm M-F with appointments scheduled out to accommodate patient’s schedules. PT sessions are generally a full hour of exercises and therapy specific to the patient’s needs. No time is wasted. The patient’s progress is tracked and modified as needed. The workout area is clean, neat and organized offering a comfortable and safe environment. Covid-19 mask protocols are followed and sanitation procedures are in place.

Recovery is a two way street and both the care team and patient need to give 100% for the best results. One will certainly receive 100% from the Sierra Physical Therapy & Rehab team. Thank you very much for your care!

I have a lot of injuries that were never treated so they've worked on my knees and neck so far. The team here is great, they're kind and understanding.

You know it's a great place when you are sad to leave. Not that I ever hope to be back but this may not be my last time. Until then.
