Sifrit Sports Rehabilitation is the absolute best! Dan helped my husband after his 2nd knee replacement and has helped me with my frozen shoulder. Within 3 weeks he was able to get my range of motion back and without pain for my frozen shoulder where in the past, I had gone for months and still could not get my full range of motion, which is how I ended up with Dan. Both of us have used other physical therapists, and none of them can hold a candle to Dan. If you want someone who is highly experienced, knowledgeable, caring and gets results, Dan is your therapist! And Melissa is also amazing in being flexible with appointments and even meeting you downstairs at the front door for your first appointment, even though there is plenty of signage, to ensure you have an excellent first experience! If I could give 10 stars, I would because both Dan and Melissa are phenomenal!

I recently had an experience with dizziness/vertigo which was a bit scary.
After a consult with my MD I heard there may be help. I went to Dan (PT) at the YMCA, Punta Gorda, and after only three visits my vertigo was corrected. He also gave me exercises to do should it ever return. I was very thankful for his expertise in this area and found him to be extremely helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from dizziness/vertigo.

I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery in late February of 2024 and was referred to Dan Sifrit at Sifrit Sports Rehabilitation by my in home therapy guy for my rehab. Their location was also very convenient for me which is located inside the Punta Gorda YMCA. Melissa Sifrit runs a welcoming, friendly and efficient office. Dan Sifrit is a very skilled, compassionate and encouraging therapist and follows the surgeons rehab orders that are given to him. 3 times a-week PT with at-home exercises resulted in an amazing recovery in range of motion with minimal pain and discomfort over a 9 week period.
Having used another physical therapy rehab center in the past, I am proud to say Dan is the best!! Melissa, Dan and his team are great to work with and care about your progress. I would not hesitate to use Sifrit Sports Rehabilitation and highly recommend them for future use.

I went to Sifrit Sports Rehab. following a total knee replacement and have been totally pleased with their services. They have dedicated parking spots by the front door, very competent and friendly office and scheduling people, and one on one attention during therapy sessions. Dan is easy to get along with and very willing to give helpful advice when asked. It is refreshing to to receive such high quality service and knowledge!!

If I could give more stars, I would. Currently, Dan Sifrit, PT, is helping me with my PT exercises to improve my movement after a total shoulder replacement. His staff are easy to work with, especially Cynthia, and they show you how to maximize your ROM (range of motion). I also went to Sifrit Sports and Rehab after a total hip replacement and for PT from chronic back pain and sciatic pain. Dan and Melissa Sifrit (owners) are so welcoming, so kind, so inviting, that they feel like family. I have gone to other physical therapists over the years (in Wisconsin and here in Florida) as I've suffered chronic back pain and I can say that finding Sifrit PT has been a godsend for me. Sifrit provides written examples of the specific exercises and follow the surgeon's orders exactly. I'm very happy with Sifrit Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and recommend them highly. My husband also has had great results when he suffered from sciatic pain. He is extremely happy to have Sifrit as our family physical therapists. ❤️

Dan Sifrit really is amazing. I had been treated for plantar fasciitis for a month in Denver and made very little progress. We came down to Punta Gorda for the season and I started seeing Dan. He spent time listening to the specific issues and devised a customized treatment plan that was successful. My morning steps are pain free and I am back to my daily 3 miles walks. Thank you Dan! And Melissa made scheduling (and sometimes rescheduling) very easy as well as figured out all the insurance nonsense. If they had a 6 star option I’d give it! Thank you

Had a total knee replacement. Sifrit was recommended by my in home therapist and am I glad I went to them. Dan assessed my situation and was honest with me about my therapy routine. He told me exactly what I did and did not need. The staff is very professional, personable, and accommodating. I recommend Sifrit very highly. After a total knee replacement 6 months ago and weeks of prior physical therapy elsewhere, I am still have some difficult pain issues with my knee.
My surgeon recommended more therapy as everyone's recovery is different. I chose Sifrit Sports Rehab and Physical Therapy in Punta Gorda this time.
From Melissa's friendly front door greet to Dan "attentively listening" to my concerns and accessing my physical therapy needs. After 6 weeks ( 2x a week) and the additional PT methods he used, I am in a much better place, from very painful to now a very tolerable level with his PT. Dan was truly caring and interested in the outcome for my full recovery to a healthier knee.
