We have had a wonderful experience at Sleepy Hollow Preschool! It is a community in every sense, with knowledgeable and caring teachers and staff and actively involved families. The co-op model allows you to witness first hand the growth of your child/children and get to know the other families in a unique way. The focus on the outdoors was a huge selling point as well - the playground area and surrounding woods are incredible!

My children attended Sleepy Hollow Preschool for 3 years. I can't say enough good things about this school. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and offer a variety of activities that help children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. It is play based with a large emphasis on the outdoors. Through the Sleepy Hollow experience, my children grew into confident and knowledgeable kids. I love this school and wish we could stay forever.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Sleepy Hollow Preschool. Both of our children have attended and because of the nurturing style of learning through play they have developed a love of school. Being a coop, we got to participate in their first school experiences while learning some great parenting tips! LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!

Sleepy Hollow has a huge natural playground, exceptional staff, and low adult-child ratios.

Our 3 year old loves her teachers and the nurturing environment in this inclusive, play-based, cooperative preschool. Our family was new to the area when she started here and has felt very welcomed by this long standing community.

The tuition is affordable, and school community is cohesive, and actively involved with the children.

I am very thankful for sleepy hollow and their amazing staff. It’s a one of a kind school that always has the best interest of the children in mind. Sleepy Hollow students are immersed in a welcoming environment where they can learn and play as they wish. Teachers are very supportive and pay very close attention to the needs and well being of every student. I appreciate their attention to each students interests and ability to incorporate them into their daily activities.

Our family is so happy to have discovered Sleepy Hollow Preschool where both of our children have moved through the 2s, 3s and 4s programs. Our oldest is now a thriving elementary student who was well prepared for "big school" with the learning through play model. Our youngest loves her days at SHPS - building skills, friendships and independence alongside the caring and fantastic staff and community. And through the co-op model, we (the parents) have learned so much and been able to share in these truly fleeting and heartwarming years with our kids!

Sleepy Hollow Preschool has been the most loving, safe, and nurturing enviornment for our kids' start to school. Both of our children started at around 2.5 years, and not only were they supported throughout their 3 years each at SHPS, but as a cooperative preschool - I was supported as a parent! Sleepy Hollow became my community - friends, colleagues and family. At a coop preschool, the grown ups learn about parenting and educating littles - what an amazing benefit. While I understood "learning through play" on the surface when we started, I now fully understand the benefit of allowing children to gain life skills by navigating challanges, disagreements, celebrations, and accomplishments with other kiddos! Off to kindergarten, we go!
