Spanish River Counseling center has been so kind, clear in communication and welcoming. Arturo and Tracy are exceptional at working together with couples. In the short time we saw them both, my husband and I received a wealth of knowledge, skills and tools to problem solve and/or manage life’s circumstances and how they affect our relationship.

Tracy came highly recommend previous to my meeting with her and will continue to be recommended by me for her authenticity, skilled listening, disarming humor, deep care, professionalism and expertise in effective therapeutic treatment.

I also spent a good amount of time with Jill, upon Tracy’s recommendation, who provided me with grounded, comprehensive and effective Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills that changed my overall quality of life.

Life is a wild journey and when you find yourself in need of additional support or life skills, Spanish River Counseling Center really is there for you. I am beyond grateful.

I had one session and sadly I will not be coming back. I truly believe that finding the right therapist or church takes time and sometimes a place can look right, but if it's not in GOD's plan it will never feel right. I choose this center based on the advantage of counsel through a Christian perspective, however the therapist could not quote a bible verse , nor did she touch on biblical based principles which made me question her ability or interest to engage in a theologically grounded therapy. In my opinion she should have started or ended with a prayer , which would have indicated that she actually was listening to my needs. I hope this review can inspire or help the therapist recognize the importance of being holistically honest in order to counsel from a full biblical perspective rather than circle around it. Although I was disappointed , I appreciate the experience and I am glad that it was made very clear that this place is not the right choice for me.
