We hired Special occasion sitters twice to watch our 6, 4, and 1 year old during our trip to Sedona and had a wonderful experience both times. The director was easy to communicate and schedule with, as well as both sitters. Both sitters went out of their way to give us updates on how the kids were doing while we were out, which was much appreciated! Give yourself a break on your next trip and allow Special occasion sitters to watch your little ones for a date night or active day adventure with your spouse! Everyone will be happy with the decision!

We booked Special Occasion Sitters months in advance for a family wedding in Sedona. A few hours before the ceremony, our sitter cancelled due to illness and the alternate sitter was not available until after the ceremony. While I recognize sickness happens and do appreciate the sitter keeping the children safe and healthy, to not have a backup available in time for the wedding was extremely disappointing - as we had literally traveled across the country to be there. The sitter was sick for days but we found out just a few hours in advance, leaving very little time for us to determine our plans. The cancellation was delivered with very little empathy as well, which just made us sad. Suggest finding a different service if you have an important event to attend (or at least making some back up plans!).

I’m so thankful for this service, they are true lifesavers and angels. I can’t say enough about our sitter, Grace who stayed with my dog several times. My pup absolutely loved her and it gave me peace of mind knowing she was in the best of hands. I definitely recommend!!!!

We were very happy with Special Occasion Sitters! They were very responsive and flexible with us setting up the schedule to care for our 3-year old daughter, who had a great time while we were working and enjoying Sedona. I like how the sitter brought a bag of books and toys, listened to our requests, and was always early or on time.

Angela and Jack took great care of our kids. We rented a house with three other families and wanted a parents night out. Angela was responsive and helpful in getting back to me with info and availability. She and Jack watched 5 little ones (aged 2.5 -6) and a 9 month old and managed to get them all asleep. Angela seemed like a baby whisperer as I was able to pass my ‘stranger danger’ infant to her without protest. 100% recommend SOS and would use them again. We wish she lived close by!
