ll had not received a Reimbursement For the sessions we had already paid for in full. We Were referred to Andres Azira for billing questions. When we spoke to him about the reimbursement, he had stated that he submitted everything to insurance and had not heard back. so we called our insurance company only to find out that our insurance had already mailed them the checks and they had already been cashed. Once I confronted Andres about this matter. Which took forever because he stated to dodge my calls, he insisted that they received no such payments. Only when our insurance representative called them directly after multiple attempts, then all of a sudden everything was getting resolved. Once we finally got our money back Sunshine decided they wouldn’t be taking our insurance anymore and stated that they would refer us elsewhere. This place has such great potential if they could only find someone in billing that knows how to do their job or has at least worked in insurance before because it’s obvious they have no clue.

Staff is unhelpful with regards to working with insurance companies and patients. Has taken over a month for them to contact my insurance just to charge me for services that should have no out of pocket cost. My insurance says they over charged me and still haven't refunded my payments. They caused more anxiety than they treated.

WARNING!! They deserve a negative star. I am getting ready to report them to the insurance commission. The desk clerk, Andre, is extremely unethical and steals money from your credit card. They do not follow the contracted rates they agreed upon with Aetna. DO NOT USE THEM!! Andre Ariza will steal your money and charge your credit card without your permission. I am filing a police report specifically on him for theft. WARNING!!!

These folks took 2 months to return my calls & messages to get to the point of "Do they accept my insurance". In the beginning, I had emailed the Director, not knowing she was the Director, as she was listed as a covered provider in my insurance provider book. She never bothered to return my email or contact me at all. I was finally told my insurance was accepted. After clarifying, I have a dual plan (Medicare & Medicaid) the lad said they don't take Medicaid, but they do take my insurance and my copay would be... I explained my plan was a dual plan and they either took both or none, because if they took it and billed Medicare, legally they weren't allowed to bill me anything. He said well I guess we don't take it then. I told him that it was pathetic, unprofessional, and off putting that I needed counseling, and it took 2 months for them to return my calls & messages just to get to this point! He said he was going to check to see if they could waive the Medicaid portion. That has been several months ago. He has never bothered to call back. I moved on back when they weren't returning my calls to begin with.

I was at BEST, unmoved by their lack of: care, concern, follow through, communication, and professionalism from the Director on down the chain. I wouldn't send ANYONE here for counseling, because:
1) Obviously they don't know what they're doing or can't get it together enough to function properly.
2) They really don't give a care if you get set up for help or not.
These reasons are derived from experience as well as what they showed me in their actions/behavior.

When someone shows you by their actions who they are...believe them! Don't go back for more!

Emely was by far the least professional mental health “professional” I have ever encountered. She is encouraging and aiding in parental alienation and undermining parent/child relationships . Please avoid this practice and this “provider” at all costs.
