I made an a appointment 2 weeks ago. All my inusrance information was taken and I was given an appointment. I got a nice text yesterday reminding me.
I showed up at the clinic, filled out the 10 page new patioent informationa nd turned it in. I was called to the winodw a few minutes later and told my Florida Blue HMO was not accepted at this clinic.
A total waste of my time.

This place is a scam. I booked an appointment to meet Dr.Pothen couple of weeks ago. I called the appointment scheduling phone number. I was asked with all my insurance details and dob etc., and said my appointment is confirmed for July 3rd 2024. When I reached there, I was shocked that we don’t see you in systems. And the front receptionist, not even tried to help me with another appointment. I waited for almost 2 weeks. They don’t care about new patients. So if you are a new patient pls don’t go there. Better look for a well established clinics. No intention to ruin Dr. Pothen’s experience.At least the sun state should take a proper action or proper communication about the appointment confirmation.

Today, I saw Dr. Zadeh for a medical refill as my specialist closed. This medication usually requires prior authorization, but I've had no issues with it in the past. I was told prior authorizations aren't done and she doesn't talk to insurance companies. She "follows the rules". I said that's the entire reason I came for an appointment. I was told "find a new doctor"... She then asked me if I wanted to proceed with blood work and I said I wasn't sure after the way the appointment was going. I said I was thinking of finding another doctor. We then ended the appointment and she refunded my copay. I'm literally in shock at how this appointment went. I've never received care like this from ANY doctor.

Pathetic services by the doctors and the staff here. Booked an appointment for physical and there was no physical done. Dr was in a hurry and I was out in 5 mins without any physical done. And the X-ray order provided by the dr is not even having a diagnosis code. Dr office was not sending the updated order with the diagnosis code to the imaging facility. Just to get a physical and a proper order for a X-ray is so difficult with these people. Office staff are such rude people with misinformation and improper communication. Better visit somewhere else. Definitely scammers to extract as much money as possible.

I think it is very important to share my experience with the staff who make appointments as i was lead to try this office from good reviews and would caution others against doing the same. I have a chronic illness that is extremely painful and I needed to find a local doctor to establish a relationship. I called to make an appointment and the woman on the line was so nice and kind, she took my info and made my appointment. I didnt get a confirmation for a few hours which was strange but whatever. It was also not for the time I was advised. Fast forward to today, the day of my appointment and I called just to let them know I might be a few minutes late due to being held up at work. I was extremely polite and even apologetic as I am not usually late but couldn’t help the situation and I informed them it wouldn't be more than maybe 10 mins with traffic.
Whoever was on the other end shamed me and was rude about the situation.
I informed them I was just calling as a courtesy opposed to strolling in late and the call was more just in case. The person on the other end audibly was sighing and scoffing at me opposed to just notating on my appointment or providing any sort of understanding. They said “we can’t accommodate you after 3pm.” I said “oh I wasn’t told this.”
They then said “AND you’re supposed to show up at least 10 mins early not 10 mins late.”
I said “oh I’m sorry I wasn’t told that either” and just repeated that I was not intentionally going to be late and the call was a “just in case I am I wanted to let you know I’m still coming “. Not only was the person trying to talk over me they kept sighing at me. I don’t know why it was such a hard time?
They then said “well I booked this so I KNOW I told you come early.”
I said “oh you remember speaking to me?”
They scoff again and say “no but my initials are on this so I KNOW I TOLD YOU”
The person i spoke today was certainly NOT the same person who made my appointment and i politely said “I don’t recognize your voice and I remember making my appointment and I didn’t speak with you” and they continued to call me a liar.
I eventually said “just cancel the appointment because you’re being very rude and condescending and I don’t want to deal with this in my doctors office”
The person was still condescending and immediately deleted my appointment and continued to make rude remarks to me until I eventually hung up the phone.
I’ve never been spoken to like this and what’s worse this is a doctors office. If you hate people so much- this is certainly not the right field.
I can never recommend a doctors office who believes this level of unprofessionalism and lack of compassion is appropriate

Saw Doctor Zadeh for seconds not minutes. She was not interested in looking over records I brought and dismissed me with a shrug and "you could go to the Mayo clinic if you want". No referral, no testing ordered, no review of records and no treatment.

I called to complain to the administrator only to be told that doc is one of the administrators. The office manager Maddie however was rude, combative and antagonistic. She told me my chart contained a referral for a GI doc, a blood order, and a scan order. All false.

I was currently under the care of a GI and would not need a referral. I brought blood work results from that week so would not need any ordered, and never was given an order for any scans. So they falsified records after my visit. I have contacted the FL department of health, and my insurance about this. Save your time and effort and go elsewhere. I waited 4 weeks for that appointment plus over an hour for the doc. Steer clear.

Dr. Zadeh & Dr. Krouth are 2 of the most compassionate and caring physicians I’ve encountered. They care about their patients and their follow up is excellent. They pride themselves in having a team that mirrors the same quality of the Doctors. Our community is enhanced with their presence.
