Everyone shows genuine care and respect for our family. It’s not only his teachers but all the staff greet him by name, little things like that say so much about a place. Transitions are very difficult for my son but everyone takes interest in what he likes and what helps him. It’s amazing that with multiple kids in a class they still show individualized love and affection to each child. They have been a huge influence in his speech and language development as well as potty training. I’m also grateful for the open communication between the staff and parents.

I have been taking my kids to surfside academy for over 3 years now, and I cannot recommend this school enough!
Starting in the toddler room with Ms Holly, she potty trained both my boys and the way never wanted to leave her class. Then moving into Mrs. Kathi's class, they had so much fun on a daily basis, and they created a bond with her that will never be broken! Then to VPK with Mrs.
Promyse, I can't put into words what she had done for my oldest son. She saw the potential in him that he hadn't been able to teach, and she pushed him to become the incredibly bright young man he is turning into. When he went into her class, he could barely write his name, and when he graduated vok, he was writing all his letters and words, and speaking as if he never had a speech delay in the first place. Now he is thriving in elementary school, and I know that Mrs Promyse had so much to do with that.
I can't wait for her to teach my youngest in the upcoming school year!
Then to the front of house staff: Ms Maiya (Titi) and Mrs. Cindy have been helpful, loving, and just the best managers of this establishment. We love you guys!

We have been with Surfside since December of 2019. Both of my sons truly grew academically, socially and became better humans. Ms. Cindy and Ms. Maya run the office effectively and politely. Ms. Kathi is the absolute best teacher who we will miss greatly! Thanks Surfside for taking care of my boys! We will miss you all.

I do not recommend this site! It was my first experience looking for a daycare for my son but I did not choose the best for very simple reasons...in this place 90% of the people who work here from 8 am already have a bad attitude they are not friendly they are not empathetic! You are supposed to leave your most precious treasure, that is, your children! with people who are mostly unable to smile and be nice! if they are like that with the presence of us parents, I don't know how they could be if we weren't present, I haven't said that they have done anything bad to my son, but if these people don't perhaps have the vocation and tolerance that one should have when It is about educating children, I did not see any important progress in the development of my son who was supposed to receive potty training among other activities that they supposedly teach them in this place! They are also not careful to be aware of cleaning the children's noses when they are sick because they were always sick and even more so if they are not aware of cleaning their noses and they have to eat snot all day and stick it to other children, always creating a focus of infection between all of them! In short, I would recommend this place to leave your son, in my case I preferred to lose the annual fee and not take my son anymore! who I only kept in that place for less than 4 months! They must do some kind of preparation to provide a better costumer service and so that they can be more pleasant and create a better environment for both children and parents who are looking for people to trust our children!

It is always hard to find a place to leave your child at and go to work worry free. My daughter was so well taken care of at Surfside Academy. From the moment she was received at the front door by Ms Kathy, Ms. Maiya, Ms Cindy she was treated with such love. We had the pleasure of having Ms. Olai and Ms. Genesis for her teacher in the 1s classroom and she learned so much while she was there. They do a lot of activities with the kids all year round. Teachers have great communication with the parents. Highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a safe clean and with good curriculum for their kids.

STAY AWAY FROM SURFSIDE!! The worst daycare we have ever been to - they did not allow parents into the building and do not post/send picture or allow camera access, they didn’t know who I was when picking up my daughter but also didn’t ID me when I stated who I was picking up… how would they know I’m authorized to pick her up Completely unsafe. My daughter was in complete distress everyday we dropped her off and has never acted like that for any other school, including now. She was terrified even driving by the school weeks after leaving!! They barely sent home any kind of artwork or indication of what she was learning. She came home using words like “bad” and “brat” and would smack her baby dolls which we do NOT do in our home. Something is going on at this school and it rubs me the wrong way.

We completely stopped coming without notification because of how scared my daughter was getting at drop off, they still haven’t ever reached out to see if she was okay. Her new school reaches out after 2 days of being absent. Just an awful awful school, don’t trust them with your babies.
