Extremely professional, listens to one's needs without judgement or dismissal, works with a philosophy of partnership towards wellbeing. Up to date and knowledgeable on new research in medication as well as how to get the best effect from medicines based on half life (what time increments are least likely to cause side effects, etc). Very thorough and medically-minded, incorporates awareness of holistic interaction between different systems in the body and explains concepts, systems, and medical interactions thoroughly, respectfully, and in a straightforward manner. He also gets back to his patients very quickly when in need and the reception helps things run smoothly.

Dr. G and his staff are wonderful. Doctor is caring and thorough. He saved my life with medication, TMS therapy and kind spirit. I would recommend him to anyone going through mental health issues.

Dr. G has established the most wonderful team to work with. I have been a patient here for around five years and continued to be impressed. I have, laughed, cried, and freaked out here but everyone remains calm and helpful. Dr. G really takes the time to know you and makes sure you’re on the most effective rx combo. I was in and out of hospitals until I found him.

I just started seeing Cheryl, the therapist, and she’s been more helpful than the other 16 years I endured. Joanna, the office manager, is a godsend. She is always able to get me my rxs even when insurance doesn’t want to pay. I swear she can do anything and keep her cool when I start to lose mine.

I HIGHLY recommend Tampa Bay Psychiatric Services, it will be the best decision you make!

Dr. Gluszak is pretty standard in his treatment of patients. He spends a good amount of time evaluating and understanding his patients needs during the first two visits. After that you pay upwards of 110.00 a visit for maybe a 15 minute consult a month. Pretty standard. The problem with his office is his receptionist. She has no concern for patients well being and is concerned only with collecting fees. She actually refused to give me an appointment to see Dr. Gluszak because of a late cancellation fee even when I indicated that I was about to run out of my medications. Both of which could seriously impact my mental health. I will add that I had used both The automated service to cancel and had called to reschedule my appointment and never received a call back from her at all.
When I indicated that I would need to seek other care for myself and needed some recommendations from the doctor himself, she proceeded to tell me that there were many doctors in the area and wouldn't be able to speak to Dr. Gluszak bc he was seeing patients all day. So if you are in need of a psychiatrist and are on medications that are an important part of your mental health I suggest finding another office. It is the responsibility of a psychiatric office as a whole to be sympathetic to and understanding of patients who are largely dependant on consistent treatment to maintain good mental health. As of now I am without my medicine and subject to a receptionist who could care less about the patient and only cares about taking my money.
