Great hidden gem in the middle of a rural setting in central Florida. I loved the chanting, I felt a sense of peace washing over me and my tears came out. Micky is very calm, gentle, and friendly. I loved listening to his books as well! Beautiful temple, teaching, and chanting! The circle with tea in the end by the big meadow is a great community building ritual. Can’t wait to go back for yoga sometime!

The Temple is Peaceful, Magical and Unified. I experienced the Swaha Fire Ceremony this New Year, an Amazing way to be free of the old and embrace the new. In 2023, I went to the Thanksgiving community gathering, the people were warm and welcoming. I continue to visit the Temple for yoga on Monday and Thursday. Karen the yoga instructor is educated, mindful and extremely kindhearted. The owner Michael Singer, is self realized and his teachings are insightful. If you get the chance to stop by, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the visit. Thank you for all that you offer, I have be blessed to received. Amazing!

I want to express MASSIVE APPRECIATION for the talks and space that TOU has provided for meditation and personal growth.

It's a huge blessing of grace to find oneself at the tip of a genealogy on a small planet teeming with life, in a massively expansive universe of potential that unwittingly led me to the temple.

I was looking to explore mindfulness practices. After several months of feeling discouraged with limited options in my area, I did another search on Google Maps, this time with a larger radius. TOU appeared on the list with 4 stars, over 140 glowing reviews, and beautiful photos. I was excited!

The initial exposure to Mickey's talks was mind-blowing; I was in awe. What I initially thought would be a once-a-week event became captured in a gravitational pull, leading me to drive daily to TOU for meditation, chanting, and of course the talks. Oh the fantastic talks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What a gem! The community is loving and welcoming. Michael Singer is the real deal as far as walking his talk. And all the programs there are free! You will be hard pressed to find any teacher of this quality doing so these days.

My wife and I attended the Temple of the Universe for the first time for the New Year's Eve service. The service was not well described in advance by either the people who invited us or anything we can find online. We came expecting some spiritual words and an opportunity to symbolically throw a piece of paper written on which was something from 2024 we wanted to leave behind into a bonfire. I was disappointed.

250 to 300 people were crammed into the temple, so close to one another that you were touching at least three people at all times. I honestly could not believe that, in this post COVID age, a parent a couple rows in front of me actually brought their sick child who was continually blowing his nose. (My wife and I have both come down ill a few days later). The worshipers chanted for nearly 40 minutes only one phrase to some Hindu goddess. I do not worship Hindu goddesses.

After the agonizingly long chant in the temple, we lined up and proceeded over to the bonfire. Another chant was started. The meaning of that chant was not explained by anyone. My wife asked multiple people standing near us what the chant meant and none of them had any idea what it was they were saying. I did some quick math and determined that we would have to stand there for over 90 minutes listening to this mindless chant before it would be our turn to burn our piece of paper in the bonfire. We left.

I'm a logical and rational human being who is still open to many things. But that was uncomfortable, mindless, irrational and unhealthy. It was only helpful in my start to the new year by redefining what I am not.

I cannot recommend this experience in the least.

Me and my husband just visited the temple last week. We went there twice. Once for the evening service and then next morning. The evening yoga class was very good and the teacher was giving good pointers about posture correction. Mickey's talks are heart warming as always and it was such an amazing experience to visit the place early morning for the chanting session and then going for a long nature walk. I'm looking forward to our next visit.
