Not sure who this person is who said they are crazy religious fanatics. I’m an atheist and have never experienced anything like what was described.

Ps. Just looked at the guys reviews and he’s from Oregon. I think he meant another Center school. Not the one in Somerset NJ.

My son is in his first year here (started in feb) and he loves it. He says he feels safe and heard.

He’s finally actually doing school work and paying attention.

They teach social emotional learning. Executive functioning and social skills.

I could go on and on but I know my son runs to the “bus” to go to school where before he would make all sorts of excuses not to go to school.

Not every thing will be a perfect fit but I feel that out of all the out of district schools we toured, this had the most comforting and welcoming feel.

They don’t need to earn points for recess. If they need an OT break, there a huge OT room for the kids to let off steam.

They have great after school programs and additional fundraising events so they can fun trips for the kids.

My son went to turtle back zoo for the explorers club.

Previously I would ALWAYS have to be the chaperone because the school staff couldn’t “handle” my son.

He is growing by leaps and bounds and healing and learning how to handle his difficulties.

Nothing is ever a perfect match but this is as close as I can think it is for my son.

Others may not have had the same experiences as we have had so take what we say with a grain of salt as well. But we are very happy right now.

Ps they also have the coolest wood working shops. All the kids get to experience it!

I love this school, as I go there. The OT room is so large and amazing! Great teachers, but I wish there were more girls who attended the school.
