I visited an old friend who is staying at “The Grove” and I couldn’t be more impressed by the friendly staff. They were so kind and caring not only to the patients but to me as a visitor. I am a volunteer for Hospice for 9 years, so I know caring staff and this is a place I would want my loved one’s to be.

My husband just spent approximately a month here. Overall I would say that it is a great place for your loved one to recuperate. Most of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that my husband complained about the food often.

The Grove is a really nice facility. It is clean, neat and organized. The best part of my husband's stay there was the staff. They are the most efficient, friendly & caring group of people you could ever hope for…..everyone……..the people who made sure the room was sparkly clean, the girls in the offices, the numerous aides and all the nurses. A great crew!!

My nephew is a resident at The Grove and I could not be more confident in the care and support that he is receiving. As an "outsider" living in CT - I speak with the staff often and am given kind and complete information. They all listen to my concerns and do not make me feel like a burden as I take them away from their chores to spend phone time with me. And when I do go down to visit, I feel right at home. I've nothing but confidence and gratitude for all at the Grove in every aspect of their work.

Upon arrival to visit a dear friend Kim immediately greets you with a welcome smile. I have not yet met anyone employee who isn’t warm and friendly. They make the patients feel special.

Very friendly and warm atmosphere, the moment I walked through the doors. I was met with a smile from the front desk receptionist. She was so helpful. I went in for an interview for a housekeeping position and met with Michael, the housekeeping supervisor. He was super nice and organized. Definitely one of the most pleasant interviews I've had in a long time!

The Grove has a very caring and concerned staff. The administration is very different. They are rarely available and renege on their responsibilities. My husband was dropped by an aide who should have called for a second person to assist. This was verified by 2 other employees. He hit his head and had to be transported to an emergency facility. When it was time for him to return to the Grove, I was told by the transport service that I would have to pay. The next day I explained this to the administrator and he assured me that the Grove would reimburse me. After waiting about three weeks, I had a lawyer call him to ask about the payment. Because I did that, he refused to pay me…shut down the whole episode, perhaps intimidated by a legal professional.I was tired of dealing with this reprehensible individual, so I let it go , but I have not forgotten .

Just the best staff of people. I happen to have 2 family members at The Grove. My father and sister. I know when I leave them they are well taken care of. Thank you.
