Myself and partner hired Kate via The Manchester Childcare Company for our wedding in April 2023 and we couldn't have been happier with the service provided. With a 9 month old son, I was very apprehensive about private childcare, however I wanted to ensure that our son had a brilliant day (routine, food, naps etc all followed) and I knew as the bride (and groom), our time and attention would be stretched. Kate was our nanny for the big day and ahead of the wedding we were in touch via Whatsapp and we even met in person to go through any routine needs and concerns. On the day, Kate fitted right into the wedding and her warm and gentle nature meant that she was an immediate hit with our son and all our guests! I felt so relaxed on our wedding day and Kate was brilliant- thank you!

Have engaged Alice’s service since the beginning of 2021.
She was really friendly and prompt to respond. Using information from the consultation form I filled at the start, she was able to find me an ad-hoc mother’s help nanny that matched our family’s needs. She provided guidance on how to interview nannies and the nanny I attended the interview with all the relevant documents like DBS/paediatric first aid etc. On the days where the nanny was not able to work, Alice tries her best to find me a replacement nanny whom my baby and toddler are familiar with. There have been occasions where she came to cover the vacancy herself! Also when the nanny had to quit due to health reasons, Alice was able to find me a reliable nanny to replace her.

Needed a sitter at the last minute after COVID blew apart our plans for a family trip to Manchester. My wife had to isolate so I came up with my 5 year old and my 3 year old. Manchester Childcare were recommended by a friend and they sent the lovely Kate out to look after the sleeping kids so I could go out and meet friends. Really quick and seamless booking process. Great communication. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend The Manchester childcare. Alice is the most professional person I have seen in organizing the right nanny for my child. Everything that is parent looks out in a childcare service is right there.

The nanny has been with my child since a year now. She is absolutely adorable, flexible and thorough professional.

We have used the Manchester Childcare Company in the past and have recommended it to all our friends. The care they provide to my children are excellent, from meals preparation, assuming the responsibilities and appointments needed, to small (but equally important) details such as a quick hug and just playing with our children. Nothing is too difficult to arrange and our children loved every minute. They also provided care that was suitable to our neurodivergent child and understood his needs. Excellent value for the service given and the only 'outsiders' that we consider to have our children that are not close relatives. Although for us and our children, they are not outsiders.... that are part of the family now! 5 stars without a doubt

I was excited to try this company but I was really disappointed. The process seemed straight forward and cost effective at first but
1. The form to be filled is just not customer friendly at all
2. I booked a babysitter for 3 hours that just didn't show up and didn't reply my calls/texts
3. They said they would investigate the no show and simply never even apologied or came back to me. They just disappeared.

Not reliable and not professional. Definitely going elsewhere.

yes we had a lovely time..it was a long tiring day and night..i hope we didnt tire kate out but im telling you if it wasnt for kate i would not have been able to cope with my little one running about whilst i was soo busy with 600 plus guests..so it was a massive wedding and kate was the best..shame she didnt say she’s vegetarian otherwise i could have arranged more food for her or something that matched her needs..because thats very important to me aswell..she looked after my daughter so well fed changed her sat with her whilst it was dinner time played ran around dealt with tantrums you name it..x
