Horrible experience. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago with Anton Georgiev for medication management. I didn’t receive any link requesting the medications that I was taking. I was surprised, but moved forward with the appointment. What a horrible mistake. He started by asking what medications I was taking. When I told him, he stated that my case was too complex, and that I was taking too much medicine. He then went on to tell me that I needed to see someone in person. I was shocked. I was even more shocked when he made sure to point out that he could not prescribe my Clonazepam, because it was a narcotic. If you’re not prescribing any medication for me, why the need to point this out to me? I felt as if he was saying that I just scheduled this appointment for that medication. I let him know that was not my focus. I let him know that I was running out of my other prescriptions. He went on to ask me what I was running low on. I let him know. He told me to contact my primary care doctor or go to a walk-in clinic. What!?!? I told him he had wasted my time, and advised I would not pay for the visit. He stated that it was fine, he was canceling the appt. Well I called Thriveworks to file a complaint, and was told that because he canceled the appointment I would have been charged a cancellation fee of $135 if I had not called as soon as I did. In my opinion this provider lacks professionalism, and is a bigot. I grew up in the south as an African American. I recognize all of the signs.
