I just want to express how truly amazing my therapist is. From the very first session, I felt a genuine connection with her. She was incredibly understanding, non-judgmental, and made me feel heard and supported. It’s rare to find someone who creates such a safe space to open up, and I’m so grateful for that. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and how much growth and healing will come from it. I have a strong sense that this is the right step for me, and I can’t wait to continue working with her.

Over the past year and a half, I have continued to receive harassing communications from this counseling office regarding a $70 balance. Despite speaking with multiple staff members and escalating the issue numerous times, no resolution has been provided. Each time, I am told that someone will call me back, but that call never happens. I am still waiting.

My primary concern stems from an incident where my son’s therapist, Sarah Shine, referred to him as a "d***head" during a session. When I addressed this with the therapist, she admitted to making the comment, claiming that she was attempting to "mimic teenage behavior." This explanation is unacceptable. Who in their right mind thinks this is appropriate behavior in a professional counseling setting? A therapist’s role is to provide a safe and supportive environment, not to demean or belittle clients.

On top of this unprofessional behavior, my insurance was billed hundreds of dollars for a session where my son was not even seen. The $70 balance in question should never have been charged, and I refuse to pay for an appointment that was mishandled and improperly billed.

This type of behavior—both from the therapist and from the office’s billing and administrative practices—is completely unacceptable. The lack of resolution, professionalism, and accountability has left me no choice but to consider other options to escalate this matter. Perhaps my next step should be to involve a news investigator or file a formal complaint to have the therapist and office investigated further.

My son sought help from Sarah Shine with the hope of finding a safe and supportive environment. Instead, he experienced a space that was anything but safe. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this office to anyone seeking mental health support.

The yelp reviews more than speak for themselves. This company will charge you for things that you did not agree to. Their billing statements are dishonest and concealing. My original charges for my consultation were $135 then the charges became sporadically different ranging from $149.50-$210 I have all of my bank statements to prove this company is crooked. Their billing department can not explain why the bill is what it is or why the charges are the way they are. They will not respond to your emails and will try to withdraw money without your approval. This is one of the companies you are being warned about. Thrive works will take massive advantage over mental health issues and try to give you hidden fees and up charges without any explanation. When you try to resolve these issues you will get a response of "moving your issue up to higher management and will get a call in 3-5 business days" that has to be the worst way to say. "We don't know why we charge these prices". BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST HEALTHCARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MENTAL ILLNESSES just look on yelp or the BBB for truth

Julouse Etienne is an exceptional practitioner & person. She is bright, cheerful, thoughtful & encouraging. Julouse has helped me through so much. I always look forward to our appointments. Julouse has a broad knowledge of psychiatry & patient understanding. I say this because she helps me see paths of consciousness I may have overlooked throughout my struggles. Julouse always begins by asking not only how I'm feeling mentally but physically. She promotes better physical health & not just mental well-being for me. She answers my questions regarding medication & suggests other self care practices that I may benefit from. She takes the time to listen & communicates her professional advice in a straight forward manner that is not difficult to understand. She is very intuitive which helps me because sometimes it's difficult for me to explain how I feel. Lastly, Julouse always ends our session making sure that I know she is there if I need anything. That's mentally & physically comforting to know she truly cares.

Setting up my profile from a list of required questions; Deep discussions were not expected during this initial visit.
I felt comfortable with Ann, looking forward to our next appointment.

Anton Georgiev was dismissive and insensitive during my sessions, suggesting I was to blame for my domestic violence situation. His lack of empathy and inappropriate comments made therapy feel unsafe. I would not recommend him, especially for trauma survivors.

I would also give 0 stars if i could. While i loved my therapist Liz, i hated their customer service. I had a family emergency and work has been super understaffed and busy so i was only able to call 24 hours instead of 48. They knew the situation and still chose to charge me. That only proves they only care about money and not my well being. Awful awful scammers and liars. My stress has gone up and i can’t seem to relax.

Dr. Juanita Bruno is truly amazing at what she does. I’m so glad I found her and trusted my instincts to go with her as our couples therapist. She’s so thorough and understanding. The best therapist I’ve had yet.
