Josh Adams is a great therapist. I've just seen him for a few months and I'm already seeing a tremendous difference in my life. He is kind and helpful. This place is absolutely amazing. It has been a huge contribution towards my healing. This place is not your average In-N-Out next client after next client, the professionals here actually care about their clients from the leadership/Owner of the business down to its employees. Particularly Sam Hinez. It is an amazing atmosphere when your employees speak highly of their bosses. I am a firm believer that when your employees are happy they tend to do an even better job with their clients and from a client's perspective that can truly be felt. I'm very grateful for this place they truly have made a great impact on my life.

It’s taken me time to write this as I had an absolutely horrible experience with Janice Allen. I was seeing another counselor here for around 4ish years. He moved on to another practice so I was set up with Janice. Our first session I explained where myself and the other counselor left off. I was diagnosed with OCD and CPTSD from my psychiatrist so I was working through some OCD issues. Janice claimed she also suffered from OCD and would be happy to help me through it. The next session when opening up about my intrusive thoughts (part of the OCD) it was very apparent she had zero experience handling anyone with ACTUAL OCD. Asking me questions like if I actually liked and enjoyed having these intrusive thoughts. It sent me spiraling backwards in my treatment. Second guessing my diagnoses, distressed and panicked. The opposite of what I came to her for. Our last session I explained how I was feeling, only then did she admit she had no experience in helping anyone with OCD and had to do research into it after the previous session. Damage was done at that point. I got in contact with my previous therapist thanks to the front desk. Would have been nice to get that information before. Janice has no business counseling anyone, should reevaluate her education, and think before she speaks on things she knows nothing about.

Very clean, quiet, and professional. Staff are courteous and to the point, office is quiet with white noise so you can't hear other client's sessions. Overall very comfortable and welcome. The complex the office is in has several fountains which is very soothing if you have some time after a session.

I have been going to Total Life for years now. Allison Dukat is the most patient understanding and compassionate counselor. Tami the front office receptionist is always friendly and helpful. I recommend this practice.
