Brandon has been working with my Autistic adult brother, who lives with me and it has been wonderful for him and our family. Brandon is very relatable and my brother opened up immediately to him. Brandon also works with me in trying to understand and teach my brother. He is extremely patient and has wonderful communication skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has someone with special needs, whether an adult or a child and especially when dealing with family dynamics.

I could not be happier with Total Life, and Brandon! My son has shown such positive progression and his confidence has improved drastically since beginning regular sessions! I have nothing but excellent things to say regarding Total Life Counseling Center. I was struggling for months to find an in person therapist for my 12 year old son. When I called Total Life Counseling, they booked an appointment for just a couple days later. My son sees Brandon (who I believe is excellent at connecting with adolescent males). Within a couple weeks, I was already noticing positive changes in my child. He was less reactive (verbally and physically), less moody, and actually was talking with me more and coming out of his room. Brandon truly had been amazing at teaching my son breathing/relaxation techniques for when his anxiety increases. He also has stressed the importance of personal accountability and my son has been much better at admitting where he can make changes to get the positive reactions he wants from others and how his actions contribute to the reactions of others. Truly, I could not be happier with the care my son is receiving!

I am so happy that Jim West has an office location in Lake Mary now. He and his staff have provided superior services to our mutual clients over the years. He has such a good grasp on the whole picture of a child and can provide valuable information to children and their families to support them at their highest level.
