I’ve been struggling with shoulder pain for the past year and a half and back pain for, well, most of my adult life (I’m 53). But the shoulder pain with the loss of strength and mobility was getting progressively worse. I needed to find help. I saw a post from a member on the local Facebook page make a recommendation about Mark’s practice. I made a note of the name and called right away. Mark dug in and accessed the shoulder area. He found a lot of trigger areas that needed attention. He introduced me to the dry needling. MUCH different than acupuncture. After my 1st and 2nd appointment my shoulder pain improved about 70%!!! I’m super happy with the results so far. I look forward to my continued sessions with Mark. He’s giving me exercises to strengthen and stabilize the muscles. This past December, I was on vacation in Florida visiting my sister. A few days before arriving in Florida, I had a health incident where my neck was injured due to a military ruck march, and I could barely move. Two days before traveling, I was in the emergency room in Puerto Rico, where they treated me for the pain. My injury caused me a lot of neck and back pain, I could barely move, it was tough to sleep, and sometimes even breathing hurt. My sister recommended I visit Mark Perez (Triumph Physical Therapy and Dry Needling) during my stay in Florida. I followed my sister's recommendation and visited Mark during my vacations. He evaluated me and treated me with massages, adjustments, and dry needling. Honestly, I have to say that I felt pain during the process, but the result afterward was impressive. Right after the session, when I tried to move my neck, I could move it freely to both sides normally. My sister was recording that moment, and my face in the video says it all. It was very surprising. The improvement I felt during the rest of my vacation was enormous. I can testify that I ended up dancing, playing with my daughters, and even going bowling without any problem. I am sure that without Mark’s help, I would not have been able to enjoy my vacation with my family. I recommend him 100%, and I am very sorry that I cannot continue visiting him since I live in Puerto Rico. But if this testimony is of any use, let it be for another person who lives in Florida and has similar problems to visit Mark. You will be surprised by the results. I was lucky to know Mark from Hawaii a few years ago - he fixed me in areas I didn’t know needed fixing. Never knew what a back or neck reset was and forgot the true range of motion one’s head is supposed to have when looking left to right.

I was unlucky to find anyone half as good as Mark since he left Hawaii. So I flew to Florida this week and got treatment today. Holy wow did Mark amaze me with his work again. He did things differently, identified other trouble areas, and had even more knowledge than before. His shop is nice, his knowledge is unmatched, and his techniques are magic.

I flew from HI for this guy. Don’t be the person who doesn’t know what your city has to offer. If your body needs treatment that sits at the intersection of needing massage therapy, physical therapy, or a chiropractor, then you and your body need to experience Triumph. I have had years of chronic pain with back and neck spasms that I have had dry needling for in my home state of Maryland. I recently started coming to FL and have been searching for a good PT.
