I love the family-centered approach to their play therapy. They meet with parents/ guardians before each session to go over anything relevant. Kim helps us as parents better understand and our daughter who is a highly sensitive child.

I have taken my child to see multiple counselors over the years to help her with the separation of her mother and I. We've had some poor experiences with counselors in the past but Kim turned that all around. Kim is kind, patient, and understands children better than anybody I've met. Kim takes the time to educate parents and utilizes a team approach when counseling. Kim makes sure all team members are involved and on the same page.

The tips, tricks, and parenting hacks I've learned from Kim are valuable beyond measure. Kim is really making a difference in turning things around.

We went to Ms. Kim for help for our child with anxiety as a primary diagnosis. Having now finally been able to work with an anxiety specialist after Ms. Kim, there was definately a huge gap of understanding from her about what anxiety is as a primary diagnosis and how to treat it, which led to continual conflict during treatment- from her constantly disagreeing with his developmental pediatrician and trying to reduagnose my son, to refusing to treat the anxiety and instead focusing on social skills. If you are looking for help with anxiety, this is not the place to go. If you need help with ADHD or social skills, you might love it at Ms. Kim's office. The one thing I will say is her office is fun and little kid friendly, and that having experience as a teacher, she is good at social skills work.
