I would recommend going elsewhere for mental health services

Update: I haven't gone here in almost 6 months, and I am still very much dealing with the trauma from my experience here. PLEASE don't trust them with your mental issues and definitely wouldn't recommend this place for any married couples wanting to have individual therapy, because they will make things as difficult as possible for spouses to have consented! access even with paperwork, and they have no problem with making very rash decisions that result in very real consequences for the families at their mercy. My life literally got worse as soon as I started coming here for therapy, culminating in an event that absolutely devastated our family. One of the main factors is that they seem to enjoy triggering people and then doing nothing to help them. In fact it seems like they will use these events against the patients best interests. If you feel uncomfortable with your therapist it's a very tough process to get a different one and they make it really clear that they don't want you to do that. It's terribly hard to advocate for oneself when having mental issues, even worse when the people supposed to be helping and supporting you are not. They are also very unprofessional during a crisis situation, very disorganized, and a bit rude to top it off. Just what you need during a crisis situation... Don't make my mistake and trust them to help you or your family. Fresno Family Therapy is a much better place that I recommend, but honestly I think just about anywhere else would be better. Frankly I have never heard of or experienced anything as horrifying as what I experienced at Coalinga Turning Point. *shudders* I can only hope things may have improved since I was there but I don't think I would ever be going back to find out...
