If you want a doctor to dangerously put you on medication that is ONLY MEANT SHORT TERM and pawn you off AS A MINOR with no warning this is the place! They don’t care nor have the competence knowing how to ween off benzodiazepines. They injured me at 17 and now at 25 I’m suffering all over again.

Try having 50/50 custody of your step child, the mom is MEDICALLY Bipolar w rapid cycling and refuses to admit it to & have it added to the child family history. The "mom" won't tell us a thing! Won't respond to texts, calls, emails. Or even tell us when she schedules one.
We call today asking for clarification on a disturbing note in her chart & they REFUSED to give us information or basic answers on what is the next step. Wow! What a terrific mother & dr this poor kid has.

If I wasn't desperate about having my son tested and diagnosed with ASD I would 100% cancel all appointments. My first appointment was scheduled as in person. I took my son into the office only to be told 11mins after our scheduled appointment time that it would now be telehealth. My 4yr old special needs son had to entertain himself in a small room with nothing while I tried to have this meeting over zoom. To say myself and my son were frazzled is an understatement.
Our following appointment for the ADOS evaluation was canceled, rescheduled as telehealth, then I recieve two messages via MyChart that it is scheduled for in office. Confusing to say the least. I called and was told each time someone would get back to me. Here we are, evening before his appointment and I STILL don't know if it's in office or not. I am thoroughly disappointed in UF and how they are treating us, especially in this time of uncertainty and need.

Needed a referral, not for insurance, just for themselves. Took over a month to even get back to me. My child needed help, and they delayed for over a month. That is not acceptable.

My sons doctor here has literally changed our lives for the better. He is patient, listens and there to HELP your child. I can’t say enough good things about him. Mental health is so hard to treat and he has helped us when we felt hopeless.

What a waste of time! Always left on hold & transferred to the wrong department. Your calls don't get returned. You can't get an appointment for months, just to be referred to another UF department that you have to wait months for. So absolutely NO help when a concerned parent is asking for help.

Dr. Soda has terrible bedside manners. He made me feel like a terrible parent by the end of the visit. I've heard from others that this is not uncommon.
