My daughter has been going here for some time, she is seen for PT, OT and speech. These therapist have gone above and beyond it seems for my child. My daughter is vision impaired and this clinic started to see exactly how they could adapt to what she needs. I’m so thankful we found them and for all there hard work. My daughter started walking her, started talking, and stared to take drinks by mouth and put food in her mouth.

I'm sure the organization is doing as best as they can but they could make some basic changes to make things way better for the parents/children - there could be an "in" door and "out" door. This way it isn't as hard for children to go in and out of their sessions. It would also make it less crowded. At the initial start of the sessions the organization can make a better effort to orient the families as to the policies and how things work as we wasted most of our first sessions not being aware of these and we would also have complied easier if we were aware instead of being told with an attitude at the start. A simple one page orientation website link sent to all new families would work. Finally, the waiting room area shouldn't have a screen playing kids material as this is counter to what is best for kids. I don't see the benefit for this at all.

I have confidence my child's therapist knows what they are doing but these other factors errode my confidence of the organization as a whole.

Up and moving has been apart of our weekly routine 4.5 years. They have worked endlessly to help my son reach his fine and gross motor goals. Omari has been fortunate to run into some really passionate and patient therapist. Which makes the 30 minute commute from San Bernardino well worth it. The friendly and knowledgeable staff make this a positive experience for the kiddos and the parents. Outside of all the progress my child has made, I truly appreciate the owners. On several occasions both of the owners have gotten down on their hands and knees to assist my son. At times when his progress seemed stagnant, they have stepped in to implement different techniques. Having a child with special needs is not easy but having a supportive team that wants to see your child progress makes it that much better. We love this place. My child has went from non weight bearing at 2 years old to running, jumping, hoping, balancing, kicking and much more with the help of Up and Moving.

When my child first started here I could say it was a good experience However this place went DOWNHILL when therapists/staff started dropping like flies. My child started having a new therapist every week! Without my knowledge or permission, communication between therapist and front office is horrible! I STRONGLY advise you to go in session with your child because some therapist lie and say your child is progressing when they’re NOT! also some of the therapist is not familiar with dealing with autistic children behaviors so they’ll send your child home because of stimming. Some of the therapist are not passionate about their job, and don’t have your child best interest. The best thing I could have done was take my child off the schedule here. Hes making soo much progress at a different clinic I am disgusted by the time wasted here.

In a family with seven, we take my younger brother there. The care they show to children with special needs is beautiful. I have no idea where he would be without them. They have taught him so many things! Such as self care and how to catch social cues.

I really enjoy the therapists that work with my son at this facility. I was nervous at 1st but everyone made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The ladies that check us in are always so pleasant. My son has had sessions with several therapists and each one has their own unique approach with working with my son. I appreciate all that they do!

The facility itself is very inviting. The lobby, waiting areas, restrooms, and outdoor area are very clean. I would recommend Up & Moving to everyone!!

This is the best therapy center I’ve ever been to. From the front staff to the therapists, everything and everyone is beyond amazing. They’re all patient, helpful, understanding, and caring towards all the kids. The way everything is set up inside is also such a fun and welcoming environment for the parents but most importantly, the kids. They host cute events for specific occasions/holidays to get everyone involved, I absolutely love that. I travel here from Ontario and it’s a bit of a drive but it’s SO worth it ! The amount of progress my son has made since he’s been there since earlier this year is incredible and you can tell that the therapists are passionate and genuinely care about your child, their progress and their well being and we all celebrate the little things together. I always say that I’m so grateful for those who willingly work with special needs children because a lot of patience and love and care is going to be needed and they’re all genuinely caring for their growth and for the parents as well. Thank you all you’re doing amazing I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Up and Moving is the best place to go to in Riverside for pediatric speech, OT, or Physical Therapy. The therapists are good at making therapy fun and exciting for the kids, so that they enjoy working toward their goals. The building is covered in kid friendly themes and murals, and the facilities are nice and clean. I really enjoy how the staff go out of the way on the holidays, having my son trick or treat through the offices on Halloween, or taking pictures with Olaf around Christmas time. But best of all, I have really seen my son grow and reach his goals like never before. I love this place!
