Being new to the area I was excited that there was a highly reviewed therapy place near to my home. I came in for a complete distal bicep tear (reconstruction injury 14cm retraction-which was quite bad including fraying of 2 other tendons in the elbow area). I find the reviews of Vado to be quite accurate. The first thing you notice when you walk in is sunny smiley Lola (always peachy). As for the space: It is spacious and they have all the prerequisite equipment required for rehab. I mean when you have a machine there named after the owner Dom called "THE DOMINATOR" you know you are in the right place(and you may be scared you ll go home sore- BUT I digress (don't mind the humor- but i still want my Dominator T).The cupping instrument and usage is a nice touch outside of the usual modalities. I started with Kristi who was very knowledgeable and great and then worked with several assistants (Gun show Shane and Jordanne-not sure of spelling). Both of them were really good. Jordanne is perky and smart and gives a darn good massage. In the end, I finally paired up with Ken. Ken was super amazing. He really knows his stuff and will be a rocking business owner or wherever he chooses to go soon as he finishes his doctorate. He really takes his time to understand your condition and come up with a program/plan to help aid in recovery. He always listens to your complaints ,and if your having any pain, he adjusts the program for the day accordingly. I had a set back or two prior to Ken (which is normal) but Ken was able to basically backtrack and come up with a solution to this both times. In short, my strength and mobility have improved a lot and I am happy with progress as I near the end of my journey. Unfortunately Ken is leaving and that will be a loss to this place. I might add Dominick(owner) is extremely experienced and knows his stuff while being unbelievably handsome to boot so there is that as a bonus as well 🙂 Thanks for everything guys and I only charge $15 for my review cash or venmo 🙂
