Dr. Letitia Browne-James was my instructor at Adler Graduate School as I pursued my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family therapy. She always took a very personal approach to teaching and brought a wealth of knowledge to the experience. Letitia does an excellent job in relating difficult concepts and subjects to real-world stories that she has experienced in her practice, which really helped me see how things how things can play out in the field (always leaving things vague and keeping out details to protect confidentiality, of course). On top of all that, she’s very approachable, kind, and went out of her way to be accepting and make me feel welcome in class (which was very appreciated, and something that not all my teachers did with me). I have nothing but good things to say about her. She has been one of my favorite professors, and I strongly encourage you to give her a chance if you’re looking for help.

Started counseling in 2020 with Dr. Browne-James, as a mixed race wife, mother, working a full time job. Life be lifeing and talking to people who think they know you already wasn't helping. It took years to build this relationship, to this point but I'm happy we did it.

Dr. James-Browne is a true well of wisdom and experience. An expert in her field, where the field is fraught with little to no resources. She is passionate, professional, powerful. She deeply cares about her clients, understands the social service arena and navigates it for the utter betterment and safety of her clients. She is here to change lives, to better the world, to remind us all that humans are here to help one another. She is a true powerhouse who should be regulating our state’s human trafficking platform. She’s the real deal and 5 stars are not near the beginning of enough of all she does. Highly, incredibly recommend.
