Just Graduated from the West Florida Radiation Therapy today and experienced the exact opposite feeling you would expect after undergoing radiation therapy. After my session today I was sad that I wouldn't be able to see my new friends anymore. Dr. Zouain, Terri, Kelly, Megan, Tony and Rosa made this experience incredibly better than I anticipated. They epitomize excellence and embody all the best of a Healthcare Professional. So lucky to have met them and have the true pleasure of having not to worry about what was happening knowing I was in great hands. Lastly after having the pleasure of speaking with Rosa an overhearing her on the phone or dealing with the patients directly I 'd be remiss not sharing how outstanding she is and what a great permanent addition to the Wes Florida Radiation Team she would make. The unprofessionalism here is out of this world.
Made an appointment in march, verified my insurance, all good.
At first appointment, verified my insurance, all good.
Make an appointment for CT Scan, verify insurance again, all good.
4 days before CT scan, they call and magically no longer accept the insurance.
This is cancer we’re talking about, but they don’t care about that, they only care about getting paid.
They do not have your best interest in mind, they just want their money.
Ariel was extremely unpleasant to speak with, cold and rude, would constantly speak over me, and has no compassion whatsoever.
I would recommend finding another location to receive care because once they can no longer make money off of you, they will drop you with no regard to whether you live or die.

WFRT is a very, very special facility. All staff members, regardless of their precise assignments, are magnificent people. There is a constant calm, positive seriousness displayed by staff.
