This is a wonderful virtual school. It is diverse self paced and stress free. This is my daughter's 2nd year with them and I believe it was the best choice I made when it came to her education. The teachers are great and very understanding and the class sizes are small.

This school has been a blessing for my children. I had one graduate with special needs after being unsuccessful in the public school system. Jamie is absolutely wonderful. He made sure he had everything lined up perfectly for my son so that it made sense to him and his cognitive abilities. My other son joined Dream Academy a few years ago and has been able to continue his education and will be graduating as well. The staff is very responsive supportive and wonderful. Recommend to anyone!

Our son transferred to Dream Academy this year as he was failing out of his local high school due to the fact he had been missing classes for medical reasons. Terrible anxiety and depression. Now though because of Dream Academy he is back on track, the staff made the transition so easy for him and he enjoys going to school!! He still has social anxiety and depression but Dream Academy lets him work around his appointments because he has a flexible schedule. We are so thrilled to have gotten him in Dream Academy, BEST Decision!

I switched my children to dream academy half way through the school year. We love the flexibility for our children to be able to work at their own pace. I have 1 student that requires extra time and help and the other is so much more advanced then her grade level. Both kids are thriving my only regret is not making the switch sooner.

During our meeting with Dream Academy's director, administration, and teachers, prior to registering, we held optimistic expectations for our son, who has special needs but possesses a remarkably high IQ and was enthusiastic about starting. However, the curriculum did not align with the promising picture presented to us. As the senior year nears its end, our son's learning experience has been subpar, with minimal daily interaction with teachers, only one hour in the morning, and a lack of structured subjects compared to traditional schools. Meaning he doesn't have a math class, science, or history. They dont teach theories, geometry, space science, and so on directly. Despite the raising concerns my son had about the curriculum with the administration, the promised resolutions were not implemented. The conference personnel were unprofessional, displaying rudeness and a disregard for our sentiments. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up communication from the school regarding our concerns. Despite our son being on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in the past, it appears that such accommodations are not honored here,as they don't do the yearly meetings to renew the IEP, raising questions about compliance with state laws. This year has proven exceptionally challenging, leading our son to desire completing his senior year without him actually learning things he was hoping to as a senior. This is an online school with a high tuition fee, which scholarships do cover. Regrettably, the school failed to uphold the commitments made, leaving me feeling like I let my son down as a mother, striving to provide a superior learning experience. Despite my ongoing advocacy for my son's education, the teachers here have often offered only reassuring words without substantive actions. As stated earlier, the curriculum that they use is super easy and not like a standard traditional school. He does not have set subjects like math, English, and science. During the conference, he did address his concerns that he did want to learn these subjects because he does love school. Unfortunately, as stated before, he now just wants to graduate. A perfect example is he needs to get half a credit in english and have a credit in history that he failed in a traditional school in 9th grade. To make up one full year credit, all he has to do is submit a slide show presentation. This school is good for students who dislike traditional school academics or do not have a high IQ. They also said he would be able to do dual enrollment for his AA, which never happened. I'm not sure what the great reviews are all about. It just looks like it's an easy and fast way to finish school. This school works well for students who want an easy and fun pass. Unfortunately, students like my son who are eager to learn but struggle in certain areas of education such as writing are just out of luck. What a disappointment.

I am Janece, mother of Azuriah. My son is in his second year at Dream Academy School. He is in the 10th grade. I'm very proud of him. He is doing very well. The classes are set up so that he is confident in doing his work. He has more than one person/adult to contact if he needs help. I love that he is focused on doing his own work. He puts a timer on his phone to make sure that he always gets at least the minimum++. Very proud of him. Thank you Dream Academy School. We are very content with the school and highly recommend it.
