Stuff and director is amazingly friendly and receptive to children needs. My kids enjoy going to class and doing the lessons, the curriculum is awesome. They're learning social skills as well as academics.

My son started going there when he was 12 months and as a mother I am very happy that we can afford this particular daycare. It is on the expensive side, but the care and education my son receives here is better than anywhere. I checked around 10 different daycares in the area, and after careful consideration and getting recommendations from other parents I chose Wonderland Montessori. The teachers love my son, they are very attentive to all his needs, and he always smiles when I drop him there, looking forward for another amazing day. I our group there are ten kids and three teachers. They learn how to paint, clean after themselves, look after animals and plants, be polite to each other. They also learn alphabet and participate in lots of great activities. The food is healthy, children eat soup and salad every day, and I am especially happy that the director, Camilla, asked the provider to stop sending sweat meals for breakfast after I and other parents expressed their concern. It is a great place and children and their parents feel like they are a big family. I highly recommend this daycare and preschool to everybody.

Would highly recommend this Montessori. My daughter attended from 18 mo to 2.5 yrs when we relocated. She loved the teachers and they loved her right back. They are great with planning family friendly outings entertaining for parents and children. She left well more advanced than most children her age. Her vocabulary is so extensive. We placed her in another Montessori school and even they were impressed by her wide knowledge and vocabulary. We will miss them dearly.

Wonderland Montessori has been such a great transition for me and my daughter. Having moved from another country and looking for the best and down to earth experience, this little Jem in the middle of Hallandale and Pembroke has made my experience so much better. My daughter and I both have been treated with so much love and guidance . From the teachers to the staff everyone has an important role that has made me feel right at home. Small and private yet big enough to see great diversity, children and parents from different parts of the world is what made me fall in love with South Florida in the first place. Im very excited to be part of Montessori, and seeing the future expansion and changes, I feel very good about my daughters education and except a smooth transition when the time comes to move up in grades.

My daughter first began attending WMA right after she turned 2 years old. My mom is the biggest critic I know, so as my daughter's caregiver, she had a critical eye on the school. Upon meeting the principal, she was immediately smitten by the staff, the classrooms, and the overall environment. I'll never forget when my mom went to pick up my daughter from school, and upon holding her, realized that her diaper was wet. My mom muttered under her breath, but a nearby staff overheard and stepped in. The teacher asked if baby's diaper was wet. My mom said "yes, but it's ok, we're going home." The teacher replied, "No, that's not ok, she needs to be changed now!" and immediately shuffled baby back into the classroom to change her diaper. This was at the end of a busy day, yet the teacher took time to ensure that baby went home dry! Kudos to that teacher for her attentiveness. Over the years at WMA, I have watched my daughter grow & develop into the beautiful, smart, caring & fun toddler that she is today-all with the help and dedication of my mother & WMA staff. From the principal to the chef to the day/after-school teachers, we have developed a loving and admirable relationship with this school. WMA provides an array of enrichment activities such as tennis, martial arts, dancing, art, chess, and even lego robotics with well-experienced instructors! My daughter was involved in 3 programs. Diversity, or lack thereof, can be an issue anywhere. Being that as it may, I didn't see an issue with cultural sensitivity. During the month of February, my mother and I suggested to the Director that the curriculum include lessons on Black History. We felt that this was particularly important as the school is primarily composed of White children, with a spattering of Hispanic & Black children, but where ALL children benefit from learning about history that has helped shape the country in which they live. What stood out most to us however, was her receptiveness to our suggestion. She loved it, and even invited us to help plan the lessons for Black History Month! To me, it showed the openness and respect for cultural diversity that this school EMBRACES. Another interesting dynamic of WMA is the large number of Russian families. Not only has my daughter learned a lot of the Russian language (thanks to a Saturday Language Learning Academy) but now we also know a few phrases, and can greet others who speak Russian! This was amazing, and I can truly say that WMA exceeded my expectations. This is NOT the type of school that is cold towards families, that only focuses on financial gain from enrollments, or that allows even the smallest things to go unnoticed/unexplained. If I could count the number of times we received a phone call when my daughter had a fever I would easily lose count! This school takes such care in monitoring health, that every little thing is immediately reported to the parents, from bathroom accidents to the amount of food intake at lunch! The ease and peace of mind that I have when my daughter is at school, can only be felt while attending a school like WMA. Each child is addressed by his/her name, which shows attentiveness. The interactions are genuine, and the environment is warm. I feel at home when I am there, and the Director's door is always open when I need to discuss my daughter's behaviors, successes, and overall academic, social, and physical development. Security is tight; which is appropriate for a school this size, with cameras, a gated lot, coded entry at every door, and other safety measures. The Director takes the safety of her school seriously, and it shows! If I could continue my daughter's academic career for the next 10 years at WMA I would do it in a heartbeat! However, there comes a time when every child must move on, taking with them the lessons, experiences, and nurturing that they received as toddlers. I am so proud that my daughter built her foundation at WMA, as I know she will take with her the love and learning that she received from this amazing school for a lifetime!

This school was an absolute horror story for us, the worst nightmare for any parent of a young child. Our child was there for just 5 months and had 3 different injuries that were unexplained and unaccounted for. Firstly there was a mark on her face that we were told was self-inflicted in her sleep even though she had never done anything lkle that at home. Then 6 weeks later we picked her up and she had an awful bite mark at a very weird angle on her wrist. Again we were given no explanation as to how it happened, they tried to tell us she didn't cry or say anything about it and once again they tried to act as if she did it in her sleep. Our daughter has never done anything like that at home where she sleeps soundly all through the night, but we are supposed to believe that in just 45 mins of napping at school she was doing these things to herself. The bite mark was very severe and looked very painful. The class had 4 adults in there as well as CCTV cameras and on each occasion no explanation given and nothing showed up on the footage according to them. We weren't given a written incident report on either occasion. Just one month later i was horrified when I went to pick her up only to be told she had a scratch in her face. It turned out to be more of a cut in her face than a scratch. Once again no explanation, no-one apparently witnessed it and she allegedly didn't cry or report to the teacher what happened. Our child is very articulate so it was very hard to believe. The director of the school told me she checked her fingernails and concluded she couldn't have done it to herself and that it had happened in the morning. They took an extended time to bring her out of the classroom to me and the teacher told me she did it to herself fin her sleep again!!!! Despite the director giving a conflicting account that it was done before she went to sleep, though no-one knew how, and once again we were told there was nothing on the CCTV footage. And once again NO incident report was given to us. It was very suspicious and we immediately removed her from the school and made a police report. The director admitted via email that her staff didn't follow procedure and that she had removed one of the staff in the class - with no explanation as to why, but it raised even more suspicions. Why remove the adult if there was nothing wrong?
The local police department and Broward County Childcare Licensing Authority did investigations, found procedures weren't followed and made recommendations. As those investigations have been concluded we are in the process of suing the school for negligence and damages.
I would not recommend this school to anyone at all because things like this are a parent's worst nightmare. Everyone we show the photos to of our child's injuries and tell them the suspicious circumstances around each incident is horrified. She is now settled at another school where she is much happier and the school overall seems much better with more caring teachers and better procedures.

Such an amazing place for the kids!!! My son was 2.8 when he started this school and what surprised me that he cried just for 4-5 days! He is 2.10 now and he loves this school so much! He loves their food, teachers and everything about it!
